The fastest and easiest way to get started is to take four or five pictures of your kitchen from appx 10 feet away from each run of cabinets. Then, bring those pictures into one of our showrooms and our professional staff can decipher the dimensions of your space based on the pictures. In fact, pictures are the best way to convey your space to us!

You could also make a basic drawing of your kitchen. We don’t need an architectural drawing here – just a basic layout of your kitchen with some basic dimensions. Measure the overall lengths of the walls where you want to replace or add cabinets. Then, we need the approximate location of your sink, appliances, and any windows that may affect the placement of cabinets. Don’t worry if your measurements are not precise, in most cases, we will have one of our professionals come to the job site to take exact dimensions prior to your cabinets being built.

Bring your drawing (or if more convenient –email or fax your drawing) to one of our kitchen design centers in Phoenix, and one of our staff will put it on our kitchen design computer system. Here, you will be able to see not only the selections of cabinetry and countertops available in our beautiful showrooms but also a color 3-D rendering of your gorgeous new kitchen along with pricing. You are now well on your way to a beautiful new kitchen or bathroom.

There are many things that are factored into how much a kitchen remodel will cost. This depends on whether you purchase in-stock cabinets or decide on cabinets that are custom ordered. At Diamond Kitchen and Bath, you can get cabinets immediately if you choose to go with our stock line. Ordering cabinets to the Phoenix Metropolitan area can take from 4-8 weeks to arrive depending on which cabinet is chosen. The old cabinets, countertops, and appliances will need to be removed prior to the installation of your new cabinets. Other work may include patching of walls, moving plumbing and/or electrical, and replacing flooring. The actual installation of your cabinets can usually be accomplished in 1-2 days.

Custom countertops are customarily measured for or a template is made of them after the installation of the cabinetry. This procedure ensures a custom fit for your walls. Be assured that your time invested will be well rewarded when your beautiful new kitchen is complete!

You bet. We will deliver your cabinets to you or you may pick them up at our centrally located warehouse. You then can do your own installation. We have customers that hire a contractor to install their new cabinets, and in some cases, our customers install the cabinets themselves. However, we always recommend using our in-house professional installation team for the best results!

For a low-cost, Diamond Kitchen and Bath can remove your old cabinets and countertops, haul them off-site, and move appliances out of the room so the installation of your new kitchen can be done. We can also hook up most new appliances and plumbing after the installation of your new cabinets and countertops.
