WHAT IS KCMA?
The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) is a non-profit organization that represents companies that manufacture cabinets, bath cabinets, and other residential cabinets, as well as key kitchen and bath industry suppliers. Established in 1955, KCMA now has more than 300 members across North America and works to advance the cabinet industry through advocacy, setting quality standards, sponsoring research, and providing educational programs. KCMA also offers certification programs, such as the nationally-recognized KCMA A161.1 program and the Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP), which set standards and opportunities for success in the cabinet industry. In addition, KCMA advocates on behalf of cabinet manufacturers, partners with other associations and public interest groups, provides reports on cabinet manufacturing and sponsors research for the kitchen and bath cabinet industry. Members also have access to exclusive learning opportunities and networking events through KCMA’s Management Conferences and Annual Convention.
